having two bbva nba's?

I applied before the 4/30 mark and didn't get the annual fee waived for life. Anyone know if I can have two of these cards?

I applied and got approved before 4/30 and my AF is waived for life. IIRC, you cannot have two of the same BBVA NBA cards. Where do you specifically show that you were charged for the AF?

I called up BBVA and they said I don't have the waived for life annual fee

Were you billed for the AF already?

Well, that's odd.  I confirmed with them the other day when I called them for something else (since I saved all the info from initial approval) and they confirmed mine is waived for first year and for the life of the account.

This would be the first I've seen w/o the waived for life ....Odd

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

Yes that is definitely odd.

OP - wait for your 1st statement to cycle.  If the AF posts on that statement then I assume that would confirm the "no waiver".  If no AF posts, then you should be ok (unless it gets posted on the 2nd statement).

Not sure how BBVA handles specific promotional instances, but I would print/save the disclaimer for accounts that have been opened prior to June 30 (section under APR, Terms & and Fees), and see if that provides some leverage.  Not sure if it all boils down to the marketing code/promo tagged to the application or whatnot.

I asked if it can be applied to my account, but they just kept telling me that I'd have to app for new account. Is there like an EO for BBVA?

bump. Applied april 8th and there will be a fee waiver for FIRST YEAR ONLY, but AF will be charged 2nd year.
