how about places that only accept DISCOVER?

someone started a thread about places that only accept amex... so... i am curious now. how about or have you known of places that ONLY acccept DISCOVER????

if i had a restaurant, i would like to experiment with this idea just to see what happens....

I doubt it exists...its hard enough to succeed in the restaurant business, I don't think your experiment would work too well!

Never seen or heard of a place that only accepts Discover.

IIRC, The only place I know of that only accepts credit cards that are Discover is Sam's Club.

They do accept Visa and M/C debit, but if you wanna charge something at Sam's, it has to be Discover.

i think they also take walmart credit card

Sam's Club used to only accept Discover, but now they accept MasterCard credit cards as well. Love to use my Freedom there. Only accepting Discover would limit customers looking from a business standpoint. I can see why upscale restaurants would limit to American Express, since they have some of the highest spending cardholders...

Sam's Club now takes MC also. For ever it was only Discover, Walmart Card and debit. Guess they worked out a deal with MC now too. Still no VISA.

According to Futurama, in the year 3000, Discover is the only card that still exists... but there are still several merchants that won't take them!

LOL... that's really funny! Love Futurama!

Being a merchant myself, I don't see a lot of Discover Cards relative to VISA, MC and Amex. Never see the Zync card at all. What's weird about that is I see more Cent cards then Zync. Which one really is the most rare of the 2? haha
