Who should i go with that stick a little closer to approving through there prequalification.  i have been approved by discover for 3 different cards the discover the cash back, miles and chrome card. Also i was preapproved for american express delta sky miles card. Should i go with one of my preapprovals, get a new navy fed flag or go rewards card? LOC with navyfed im so confused and dont want to make the wrong move. A little more about my profile.

My Fico 8 scores are TU690  EX690 EQ680

Re: preappoval advice

Both Discover and Amex prequalifications are generally dependable. Just choose the card that fits your spend.

It depends on your location, but it's been my experience that they use EXP; however, YMMV.

Out of curiosity, which SkyMiles card were you pre approved for?

Like jdbkiang says AmEx is more than likely experian. For Navy, my experience was TU and Discover was Equifax.

Edited to add: For Navy: It was Tu for membership (my understanding is no longer hp for membership). For the credit card, it could have been Equifax or Tu. But I don’t remember. It was more than two years ago and has fallen off my reports. However, last year it was Equifax for a CLI. .

Re: preappoval advice

A few suggestions OP.

1. Remove yourself from the maxed out AU card (90%) will do wonders for your profile/score.

2. Close the fee happy First Premier will do wonders for your wallet, you have plenty of other cards now, the days of being prey on are over. Closing it will not hurt your credit or score.

I took myself off as an AU on the Card but it didn’t come off yet and so u think I should close it before I apply for any other card

That's really not the best Amex card out there. Are you sure that's the card you want?

Either way, definitely way for the AU to come off your reports. Maybe if you check pre-approvals after that, you'll get better results.
