I have never had to use purchase protection but I did have the Disco Secured card which unsecured at it's 6 month. To the best of my knowledge the card did come with all the same benefits as an unsecured card. I do have the Cap1 card and do believe it comes with purchase protection as well. Will check and confirm shortly.
