Hi all,
Signed up at the AMEX website for CC offers and was sent an email of two card 'offers' for 1) Blue Cash Everyday and 2) Premier Rewards gold.
I'm really looking to get the BCP to put my gas and groceries on, and wondered if these emailed offers are the ceiling or the floor on what card you could get? Will I be auto-declined for a BCP or likely approved since they already extended the BCE to me?
< 20% utilization, 1k BoA Cash Back, and was approved two days ago for a 5k Chase Sapphire Preferred with a 731 CKarma score before the hard inquiry posts. Pulled a couple scores last year and was in the 700-720 range, but have not checked again in several months.
Income 48k, 17k auto, 30k student. Applied for BCP 08/13 and was denied (can't remember reasons)
With the hard inquiry from the CSP, should I attempt to get this BCP? Or is it wiser to grab the Chase Freedom for the 5% transferrable to my CSP and wait for 6 months of revolving these cards before I apply for the BCP?

Sorry for the cross post, but I think I may have initially put this in the wrong forum?

How do you sign up at the AMEX website for offers? Thanks, Barry

I'm fairly certain the UW requirements are the same between the BCE and BCP, so that shouldn't stop you from applying. The best of luck to you.

The offers are from marketing and unfortunately are not an indicator if you'd be approved.
If your current credit profile is one BoA with a 20% util ( CSP not reporting yet) - I think you might have a better shot after the CSP reports.
However, it is just a hp and it doesn't hurt to try.
