I no longer have any Comenity cards, since none seem to fit my current needs. So my three lineup is all Sync.
1. Marvel MC--one of my most used cards, due to 3% dining and entertainment. I use mine for full service restaurants (or if I'm not sure if something is "fast food"), as well as anything that comes up as Bars/Cafes or catering. I also use it for my recurring PS Vue billing, since that gets 3% rewards.
2. WalMart MC--I mainly use this for 5% gas, and very rarely for the 3% travel.
3. Amazon Store--I use this for special financing, which comes in handy if I'm below the threshold for Blispay.

Virgin America-My personal favorite from Comenity anyway.
Marvel-Great for dinning out and entertainment.
Amazon Store Card-lets be real who doesn't shop on amazon?
I rarely shop at Amazon unless I need something that is very hard to find. Like a book mostly sold overseas. Prices are cheaper elsewhere and faster delivery. Also the Store Card only gives you money back if you have Amazon Prime. So you have a store card with an 132 dollar annual fee... I will pass. I guess the 0 percent financing is a good deal but as I said prices are higher than other online stores.

I’m not fussy about the exact number of cards. I'm not a moderator, but I would appreciate it if we could minimize the number of “Barclaycard is just as bad” or "I couldn't live without my Platinum" detours. I intend this just as a sort of puzzle and not really for any practical purpose.
I’m thinking...
-A Virgin America Premium Visa (still with Comenity, I believe) would be nice as my main card, at least until Elevate is replaced with Alaska's Mileage Plan. However, it’s closed to new apps. They do fly my usual routes, and without Amex or Citi cards (for Delta/AA points and perks), loyalty to Virgin America could make sense. Getting Elevate Silver status based on my segment count would be possible. Even Gold wouldn't be out of the question.
-A Sam’s Club MC (Synchrony) could be useful for bonus categories.
Not sure beyond that...maybe a Stash card for the first year.
I like my Virgin America Premium card -- nice perks that make up for the annual fee if you use them
J Crew because I shop there and you get free tailoring with the card
Amazon because I live in NYC where everything is twice the price it should be
I'm thinking of the Marvel card, but as I just passed the 700 TU marker a couple of months agoI don't think the SL will be decent so will probably hold off for now.
Nice thread, OP.
