I feel this is a silly question, but the Capital One Platinum Prestige card has several requirements, one of which is:
"have never been more than 60 days late on a credit card, medical bill or loan payment."
So my question is, for a requirement like this, do they really mean never late for the last 7 years, since negative info only stays on credit reports for this amount of time??
My baddies were charged off after a series of late/missed payments. Since they are now negative accounts, they will be deleted. However, I have seen my mom's CR and noticed closed revolving accounts as old as ten years still reporting.
So after these baddies are off my report and I maintain a good payment history, can I technically say I "have never been more than 60 days late on a credit card, medical bill or loan payment" since there will be no history of them on my credit report??
