score watch alert - timing?

how long do you think sw takes to notify of changes?  i applied and was approved last thursday for care credit $4000.00.  got a sw inq notice next day, no change in score.  and today cap1 cli for 2 cards at $1,000.00 each.  bring utiz from 80 to 66. only got the one alert.

It would depend when your statement cuts for Cap 1. I don't think they will report early for CLI's. I am sure you will get an alert after it reports. Do you use another cms where you can check to see if Cap 1 has updated?

Re: score watch alert - timing?

Even when it updates to your credit report it still might take awhile to raise your score. I can't stand when I pay down a big reporting balance and then it takes a week or two to affect your score after it hits your report. But if you report a bigger balance or something negative it will hit the same day.

I have learned not to depend on them to be timely.

It's an opiate and should be under federal regulation. I never thought I'd spend good money to see what other people think of me. Smiley Wink
