If you have opted in to receive offers from credit cards, pre-quals etc, they will sp your CR's to match offers.

I see it on my report a lot also.. I suspect it's something Capital One uses either for their creditinform  or something else. I don't recall why Cap One sticks in my head for that, but I swear I looked into it once myself, or saw it spelled out on my credit report.

It could be that they are checking into her profile with the idea of extending her credit if she meets certain pre-requisites.

Assume it is not only identityguard.com but other monitoring services as well. I have tons of Intersections too and do not use identityguard either. Looking at the dates it looks like my own pulls..
