Exactly. OP, if you're looking for the bling, the status, the "oooohhh" factor and to get noticed, go for the Ritz (oh, and the "clank" when it hits the counter top). $395 AF if you wanna play!
like anyone going to lean over me to see what card i have ?
only people that see it are the people you owe money to and cashiers. in fact hardly anyone will see what kind card you have now with the chip and pin. you just slide it or use apple pay. i just feel like i dont fit in not because i dont have a ritz card but because looking at my portfolio i dot not have a signature visa or any todays popular cards which the ritz is not but freedom sure is maybe thats why give such high limits. only reason i giot fnbo is because it grows with you with their soft pull credit limit increases every 3 months. not sure how freedom would grow unless you have other chase cards like slate and can move your limits onto another chase card. are they soft pull for credit limit increases ?

CSP would be a good bet as they are all sig so if you're approved it's a sig. Marriott is the same and it's sexy in black metal.
annual fees ?
85, and you get annual one free night hotel stay.

Ok, let's put this in perspective. Does a Signature-branded card define you as a person? I would hardly think so. I mean maybe to some people it means something but not having them doesn't make the world stop and cause financial ruin! Unless you have them framed and admire them everyday, dust them, clean them, shower with them.
And I can understand that most bank-issued Visa Signature cards come with some added perks/benefits, like being able to use with Fandango, etc., but most folks don't even use half the benefits offered with Signature, let alone World or WEMC. And, looking at your portfolio, I'm not sure how you do not "fit in" absent the Visa Signature card. You have some great cards with some very well-known and popular institutions like AMEX, FNBO, Discover, BOA, etc.

I don't know why you say Freedom gives high limits. It certainly doesn't compared to things like NCFU, Diners Card, NASA (and even those don't give huge limits to all).
If you look there are TONS of posts here with people with Freedoms under $5K, asking if they will get converted to Visa Sig once the CL is over $5k.

Hate to break it to you but the Signature logo embossed on the card in various cases doesn't translate into that. There are plenty of banks that issue Visa Signature lines below the $5K threshold and same for World and World Elite MCs. Additionally, folks that may be overextended and/or still building their credit profiles can equally have a shot at a Visa Signature or World/WEMC. Plus, I can guarantee that there are folks who may have credit issues and still hold a Visa Signature in their hand (whether it works or is maxed is a different story).

their pre-qualifed on their websites never recommened me any cards following a ''sorry, we canot recommend you a card at this time.'' boy am i mysterious ![]()
OP, not sure if someoe mentioned yet but when I was approved for Freedom in August they pulled TU and EX, I was approved for a 3.5k limit.
I applied for Sapphire last month after my score dropped a little cause of new tradelines and I was approved for 5k Visa Signature. I regret not applying for the CSP only because I wanted the metal card. But the Sapphire is actually more realistic for me right now with a 500 dollar spend sign up for 10k UR points.
If you want the metal card with annual fee go for CSP, if u want the sapphire regular visa sig. its a great card and they only pull TU for it. I read that somewhere and that's what happened to me. For Slate and Freedom they pulled TU and EX but Sapphire just TU.
