united explorer card question

I recently received an invitation to apply for a united explorer card with 50k bonus miles. I know an invitation is not the same as a preapprovial. My question is, is chase just as tough with there united card as they are with regular cards? The reason I ask is im about 28 months post chapter 7. since the chapter 7 my credit has been perfect. I have removed all bad marks except the BK it's self. all of my credit scores are between 700 and 720 fico 8. I have 7 cards with a total of about 10% uti no cards are over 30% uti and all but 2 of the cards are at a zero balance. I have only 1 credit inquiry in the last 6 months, its on all of my reports it's for a home loan and 4 tu, 3 ex, 5 eq in the last year.

Yeah Chase is as tough with the card as others, probably more so than cards like the Freedom and Slate as this card is a Visa Signature and comes with a minimum of a $5K limit.  It also falls under the 5/24 rule but more importantly I think the fact that your BK is only 2 years old your chances of approval are not good.

Re: united explorer card question

I'm with Irish. I think they may be even tougher because of the signature value to it. I'm not familiar with how tough they are on BK's, but I think 2 years may be a bit too soon. I'm not confirming that but just saying that it could be an issue.

Re: united explorer card question

The fact that the card is a Visa Signature makes it harder for approval?
