Re: wamu - You stink!

emasta- On behalf of all the WAMU rate jacked card holders, I would like to welcome you into our club, WAMU UP THE WAZU!!! Please get in line, which btw, extends through the building, around the corner, down the block, up the street, over a few hills, past a couple of pastures(which used to be green-now they are black, as they, like us, have been SMOKED!)

I also had the same happen to me recently. I also called a couple of times asking for a rate decrease, but got laughed at. However, I will have the last laugh on them, I am working hard at knocking down my balance so I will not care what the interest rate is because I will keep it PIF. I will continue to use WAMU card, but they will get no interest earned on me!

Called to see what was going on.  Spoke with some one who could care less, and read from a script.  "Too bad, your only option is to close the account if you dont want this new rate"

Thanks Wamu.  You are the best. Smiley Mad

Amen to that

The slide from grace is really more like gliding
And I've found the trick is not to stop the sliding
But to find a graceful way of staying slid

I agree as well, but I had them rate jack me as well in October.  I hadn't used the card in a LONG time, so it is happening to everyone, not just those of us who PIF.  In this environment PIF is the only way to go!

I think in any enviornment PIF is the only way to go.  It's just with the economy the way it is, it reinforces that issue.  I feel bad for those who aren't in a position to PIF.  It wasn't so long ago that I was there.
