Hi ![]()
Per Discover, some of us (like myself for one example) have been receiving approvals on our CLI requests pretty much right after 91+ days so far. There are certainly other cardholders who receive them much sooner and on the order of only 31+ day cycle. It just depends where in the Discover system that they rate your eligibility with them.

Capital 1 is generally every 6 months.

I interpret that message to mean they believe you have a suffient amount of credit from them at this time, and they would like to observe your activity with the account for awhile, before allowing you access to more credit.
I have a similar message from my account with Overstock from Comenity. I was getting a CLI every 31 days for six months and then it stopped abruptly. I have tried every 60 days since then and nothing since October for me.
HTH
Comenity seems to be either every month or every other depending on the card

I have had my first Comenity card for almost six months, and have yet to receive a CLI from any of the accounts with them. I will be trying my first card again at the end of the month (when it goes six months exactly). I'll try to remember to come back and update everyone if a CLI finally goes through.
