Logged into my AMEX account today and saw that my Member Since date had been fixed and changed to 1987 (instead of 2000). This increases my oldest account age by 13 years.
I had tried so many times without success, and wouldn't have tried again except for tiger67's message thread. Thanks to everyone who helped with this (both in the original thread and this one), especially tiger67.
Persistence has finally paid off! Glad you didn't give up; it is SO WORTH THE EFFORT!!!!
I got my replacement cards in the mail on Friday. Both cards have new Member Since date ('87).
Now I'm wondering when AMEX will update this info to the CRAs?

probably on the next monthly update (or the one after that) otherwise you can call amex credit reporting dept. and request it.
