Can they do this my husbands Equifax score went from a 602 to 583 in one month and the only change I can see is that the Lates went from 63 to 79 which is BS anyway cause we have not been late on anything since mid 2004. I bet LVNV and Presidio are behind this. What can I do
I am looking at the equifax report on myfico. This is driving us nuts we were supose to close on Monday and now we cant the lender said it could be another month or longer now.
looking for there number now and for Experian as well. I love TU they have been the easiest for me to get things removed from and have updated everything in like 10 days unlike the other 2. My TU went from low 400's and I mean rock bottom (402) to where it is now a 643 in like 6 mths I finally got it over 400 and thought it would not go any hire until this site and now its alot better but I still have a ways to go with it.
This is BS can not even talk to a rep all you get is recordings and they dont even check on things I bet. I disputed a collection that was paid and have a letter that they will delete and Experian changed it to collection balance due but late. this is BS how can they do that when it was paid and I have a paper from them that stated delete.
yeah EX never picks up for me either. Once, the recording said, "to speak to an operator, please press 0"...so i pressed it and then the machine goes, "The operator would not be able to give you any more information than what this recording has stated. goodbye" and it hung up. horrible.!!
Does your lender use the rescoring system? Where they send in proof of payment to the CRA's and they update that info on your file? Sometimes it is to your benefit as far as score and other times you may not see a change. Hopefully if you can send that delete letter to them that would make a difference in your score.
