EX and EQ are reporting an old, positive TL, opened in 1999. Can I request that TU do the same? This TL really helps with AAoA, and I read that if I send account info, to CRA, they have to report it. Does anyone know for sure?
This is a JCPenny card that is now closed, paid as agreed, never late. On my EX report, it says that this account will report until 2017. Thanks.

TU can't report information that it doesn't receive. If the JCP account doesn't appear on your TU credit report, it's because JCP isn't reporting the account to TU.
Creditors are under no obligation to report to all 3 credit bureaus. They may report to two, one, or none if they choose. Many large creditors report to all 3, but there are exceptions.
For the record, I have an old, closed GEMB/JCP account too. As is the case with you, it appears on EX and EQ but not TU.
Also, I'd be kind of scared to ask GEMB/JCP to report it to TU. Banks are strange about requests to do anything with closed accounts. Sometimes they just stop reporting anything at all, and there goes your account.
This happens more often when someone is disputing or asking for GW, but be aware that it might happen, and that they don't have to resume reporting if they don't feel like it.
Just a thought...
Thanks for your replies. Just trying to do all I can to bolster positive TL's. Funny thing is, I recently app'd for JCP card, and they pulled TU. I obviously have a long way to go.....refused. TU is my lowest score, but has gone up quite a bit since I app'd, losing 10 derog's and adding 2 revolving accts.
