I'm in the process of resolving some errors on my report. I signed up for the 3 bureau monitoring product and used the contact information from the 3B report to send a CMRRR letter to them. I just received a notice from the post office that the letter was non-deliverable. I did some investigating and it looks like TU and EXP have a different address for them - not the one I sent the letter to (not sure about EQ - still working on that one). Does anyone know where the creditor address information on the 3B report comes from? Since my dispute pertains to FCRA violations as well as incorrect payment information, I'd like to add this to my dispute if I can. But I want to make sure I know who's furnishing this information to FICO before I go blaming them for it. Thanks in advance.
Was the letter you sent to them a direct dispute, or just an informal communication?
What are your asserted FCRA violations?
If delivery is an issue, you have the option of filing your dispute with the CRA and let them contact the furnisher.
The other option is to contact the furnisher and ask them for the mailing address for any direct dispute.
