4 lines of credit?

I talked to my local credit union, and they said I need at least 4 lines of credit to apply for a auto loan and least 6 months to a year of credit history? I have a Captial One Secured Master Card with a credit limit of $200 and a $1000 share secured loan. It looks like I need to add a none secured credit in 6 months and maybe add another line of credit. Once my capital one card report a score in 7 months.

It's basically an issue of adding additional credit lines, as a means of demonstrating that you can handle credit in a responsible way.
