637 avg Fico any ccc working with this #

Have 2 paid co/ 2 paid Judgements 4 good accts 1 unpaid co 5.5 yrs old. Can't seem to get any approvals..

Have you tried for a secured credit card? It looks like the past judgments and co's are holding you back.

That score seems high with COs and Judgments. These are your scores from myfico.com right?

Assuming the scores are accuate, this just proves that scores certainly are not everything!

I have a 528 eq ; 595 Exp and 604 TU and got a card from Imagine and so far they have been great. Yea it comes with fees and a low limit but its a start and I dont have to mail a payment they will do Auto withdrawel and it does not cost extra. If I go online and make a payment that also is free. I do like this card. However I did get a little upset when my husband who has one of there cards got his CLI because he had his for only 3 months and got a 100.00 increase that is why I got mine. I was with Continental and had them for 4 months and nothing. We have never been late and I even make a payment every 2 weeks on them. My Utlilzation is a bit high right now due to kids but it is a great card.

OK.. that score looks more accurate. Try HSBCs Orchard card. Otherwise, just keep working on getting your reports cleaned up.

My average score is less than 600. I applied for an AMEX Gold Sky Miles card with $1000 limit and got approved.

If you have a score in the high 580s then you should be able to get it. One thing they like to verify is employment and home address.

Really? WOW. That is pretty impressive. I know some Amex cards are less stringent, but <600 seems impossible. Good for you!
