7-10 day reply from Amex

First time I was denied or received the response we will send you a letter in  7-10 days regarding a credit line increase request from Amex.  Is this an automatic refusal?  F/R or just wait and see?

Thanks!  I was trying to make up my mind about pressing that reallocation
button and transfer $500.00 from Blue to Blue Cash, but decided $500.00
wasn't an exhorbitant amount to ask for and lo and behold I received the
7-10 day letter.  I was just trying to bring my debt to ratio closer...LOL.  Oh
well, that is what I get for thinking/trying. Smiley Indifferent

It's weird alright LOL.  I belong to a credit union and have since 1994.

I just learned Amex gives increases every six months now.  I asked for one less than six months ago so that may be the reason.  They granted me a APR decrease in January, 2008 also.    Perhaps I am only entitled to one or the other in a six month span of time.  Regardless, I am okay and don't plan to apply for credit this year at all.

Thanks again,
Sandy
