I have 3 cc. reporting since but everytimei app for credit, the usual responds is BK and collection.
Now i have been cleean since post bk so i am just confused and really i feel like i need a professional help......
thank u all,
I don't know of any but I have to say that I think most of those sevices are a scam anyway. They show short term results, probably by disputing things on your CR so they don't count against your score, then they charge you and keep telling you they are working on it. For the majority of things, not the ones that might actually NEED a lawyer, you can find all the info you need to do it here simply by asking for help.
This forum is a resource you should use as much as you can, chances are if you have an issue someone here has to. And might know how to help you deal with it.
Your best place to start is in the "Rebuliding your credit" area, just poke around and see what you can find. And above all don't hesitate to ask questions. I'm sorry if that isn't the answer you wanted to hear but it is the best answer I can give you.![]()
Edit: Oh, I don't know what baddies you have on your report but the BK isn't going away for awhile. It will mean less as time goes on, as long as you start showing some positive lines. So you can look at store cards that report and secured credit cards, I hear BofA has a good one. You can start send GW letters, but that can take time if they are stubborn about it.
I agree with all of the above. If this helps, I spent years feeling intimidated and as though I had zero control over my finances. Learning how to manage my own credit rebuild has been invaluable. The rebuilding forum could really help you. There's not a way to merely pay to have collection items removed. Anyone who advertises that is scamming you.
Yeah, it's not difficult to do most of it yourself. The internet, especially this site is a great resource. I will say, however, the closest I ever got to purchasing help in this area was the system offered Credit Repair Publishing. You still do everything yourself but have access to something they call the credit repair intelligence system. The cost didn't seem too bad and the videos were pretty enticing. However, I spent so much time trying to find real people that used the service and reviewed it, but couldn't. Seemed like there wasn't any info whatsoever on the net, unless they provided it themselves. So, I declined. That being said, some of the videos were still entertaining to watch for free.
