Re: A missing CC on my report?

Did you pull all three credit reports?  If not, maybe they're only reporting to one or two but not to all.  If you pulled all three and it's not on any of them, give Chase a call and tell them that the card isn't reporting to any of the bureaus.  If you only checked one report, tell them that you are trying to build your credit and ask that they report to all three, not only one or two.

I did this recently with my car payment where payment history wasn't being reported on one report.  They did what they called a "bullseye" which they said would force my entire history through.  They told me it may be the end of this month before I see it.  I still haven't seen it but my creditor indicated that they would do whatever it took to get my information to report correctly to reflect my good payment history.  They told me that if I didn't see the update by the first part of May to call them back and they'd work on it again.

Don't bother contacting the bureaus to add an account.  I tried that and was flatly denied.  They stated that they only obtain account information from the creditor reporting to them, not the consumer.  Maybe you'll have better luck but I got no where fast.

Correct, unlike business reports, you cannot add tradelines to your personal report.

Definitely contact Chase and find out where the problem is - it is possible they are reporting it incorrectly on someone else's credit. If the account was originally set up with the wrong SSN, this can easily happen.
