AMEX 2/90 Day Rule--question/clarification

New to the community...glad to be here! Wanted to toss out a question re: the American Express 2/90 rule.

Does AMEX distinguish between business cards and personal cards for the 2/90 rule.  In other words, if I had 2 business cards approved in 90 days but no personal cards, will the 2 business cards prevent an approval on a personal credit card.  Looking at the Delta Gold (personal card) as it has a good SUB going. I appreciate your thoughts.

If they were both revolving credit cards, then yes, but as always YMMV

It's usually a soft pull for existing members, so don't be afraid to apply. Alternatively, you can still apply for charge cards.

@Anonymous One last question (I promise), gold and platinum charge cards (paid off monthly) don't count towards the 2/90, correct? Even if the charge cards come with a "pay over time" feature? Thanks again!
