I personally wouldn't. Inquiries have virtually very little to no impact on your FICO (YMMV on your credit of course) and inquiries only have a FICO impact for one year, though they report for two. You mentioned that this was reserved? Just a guess, but was this from Sept/Oct? If so, in about 9-10 months it wouldn't have any score impact anyway and if removed now, you might not see any change to your score. I personally would ride it out. Now if wanting to do it on principle, then that's your call. The only side effect to disputing inquiries is that it can lead to a fraud alert, though I haven't heard of that happening on EX.
BTW, how do you like the phone? I just upgraded to the 4 in the spring and was too chicken to upgrade again that early.
Thanks for all the inputs pizzadude and IIecs. I am new to credit with just over 6 months of credit file. Is there any chance that it may have a more impact on me considering thin credit file?
Maybe I can try giving AT&T a call as suggested by pizzadude and see if they would drop it. Would not spend too much energy on it.
I am loving the phone esp. since I had a 3GS before this. However, if you have just gone for a 4 then there is not much of a point upgrading. There are already rumors (like its always the case with Apple) that a completely re-designed iPhone 5 may come out by summer.
My guess: If you reserved an iPhone with a new carrier you were agreeing to take a 2 year contract (part of the price deal) so you are a new customer. They often pull a hard with new customers - they did with me, and then anotther one when I added a second line.

They wouldn't know this until they pulled your credit ~ AT&T and most phone companies do this to determine if they need to charge a deposit before allowing you to have phone service.
I agree that there really isn't much impact to you, a single inquiry will only make a small hit to your FICO score.
