Account Re-aging?

Hello, I just discovered this forum and I am glad I did. The information contained here is incredibly helpful not too mention valuable. I do have a question that I was hoping someone could shed some light on. I have a few collection items on my Experian CR all from the same CA and I was looking through some older reports from 2006 and I noticed that it said this item is scheduled to continue on record until September 2008. Well, I happened to pull a new Experian report a few days ago and I noticed that it now says these collection items are scheduled to continue until February and March of 2009. So I was wondering if this would be considered re-aging and if so how would I go about getting Experian to correct it? Would I need to send them a copy of the CR from 2006 and if so would they even accept it. If anyone can offer some assistance I sure would appreciate it. Thanks

Re: Account Re-aging?

Yep, it has been reaged.

There's a procedure to disputing this and others can offer better advice, but I think you send in copies to EX of the old and new report and mention that it has been re-aged. You might need to send in a copy of your DL and SS card. Not entirely sure though. You will have to send CMRRR.
