Acct History Status Codes

Can someone give me some info to help me understand account history w/status codes.  I have a collection acct that was closed on 4/03 with DOLA 5/02 with Date of last payment 4/03 Item as of date last reported12/07 with and acct history with status codes: 12/06 G=Collection acct  Why would my date reported be 12/07 would this look like this acct was recently reported update as a collection acct?  Should this date be listed as the date from when this acct was first reported as a collection acct in 2003?  There have not had an update not change have taking place with this acct.  This acct have continued to be the same info since 2003.

Was there some sort of dispute recently? That could trigger the last report date.
