I recently opened a savings and checking account with Alliant.
Last night I went through the online process for "edepositplus" to allow for easier deposits. After going through the entire process, the system prompts me to call customer service.
Today I called CS and the CSR apologizes but she can not help me with edepositplus, she recommended I call back "during regular business hours 7am to 7pm M-F".
While this is but a mere inconvenience, the recorded message Alliant plays when you are placed on hold, touts "24 hour customer service".
My issue is not one of prodigious complexity, I am surprised Alliant does not staff their customer service center with people who can handle rudimentary account setup issues.
No need for any responses to argue or debate the difficulty of my request, I am just posting this for informational purposes.
