Amex Reporting CRA???

I opened my Amex BCE on 2/17/23. Statement cut 3/17/23 with a $0 balance. How long does it take for Amex to report new accounts to the credit bureaus?

Very common for them not to report until the 2nd statement cuts, 60 days

I echo @JoeRockhead comments that it's not uncommon for 60 days. For example, my CFU which I got a month later than my Amex EDP last summer reported at the same time as the AMEX( it took 1 statement cycle vs 2 for the Amex).

Reporting is entirely up to the lender
My AmEx BCE didn't report until after my 2nd statement.
My Amplify HELOC reported he day the account became available to draw from.
My Paypal MC reported 3x before my first statement cut, though has settled down to once a month lately.
One of my Truist cards has not updated to my $0 balance the last 2 statement cycles, so is still showing a small balance from January.

Back to gardening until Late February 2026.
