Amex business card

My past employer gave me an Amex card with a $46k limit. They always paid it on time, it shows as responsibility: terminated, high balance $45681, no late payments, open.
Is this good or bad for my credit?
I can get it removed, but don't want to if it's helping.
Equifax & Amex couldn't tell me if it's helping or hurting my score.
Please assist.
Thanks

Re: Amex business card

If it's your oldest reported tradelines, it's helping you. In any case, it's another positive tradeline. I can't imagine it's hurting you in any way.

Re: Amex business card

Thanks for the info. I guess my main concern is that it's possibly showing I have $46k in available credit so I could use that at anytime.
Also it says my credit age is only 2 or 5 years but there's things on there that go back 15 years. Should I try to do anything about that?

Amex business cards do not report to your personal credit reports so that card isnt affecting your credit reports in anyway.

That's passing strange, what card was it explicitly?  Might have been a personal card.

Generally speaking, any positive information is good information, and the highlighted pink will pretty much guaruntee the 46K isn't counting against you from an UW perspective.

That said if you're at the point where an additional tradeline is absolutely irrelevant and you have a clean file with good history backing it resulting in a very pretty score, then you can whack it if you wish, otherwise if it's there, it's probably helping somewhat and no need to rush out and kill it... and personally I'd keep it but that's me.

As Revelate suggests, in all probability your employer put you as AU on his/her personal card and that's why it's reporting.  I also agree that what is reporting is very positive so I would leave it on there.
