Welllll... if you haven't paid the judgment (how long ago was it and how much money do you owe?) you still have some leverage. Because unlike a CC that will CO your debt, anyone who gets a Judgment against you still carries that Accounts Receivable on their books.
The plan to get it removed is as follows, find out how much you owe, then make an offer for like 60 to 75% of the balance with the stipulation that the OC or whoever filed the court paperwork submit Lawsuit Dismissal or Nonsuit paperwork to the court as part of the settlement agreement (you have better odds of getting this the closer you settle toward 100% of the balance). You could stipulate that you'll pay in multiple installments, and that the final installment will be hand delivered at the courthouse so you can see the attorney actually file the proper Dismissal Paperwork.
Once you get this paperwork file, you wait about a month, then do two things -- dispute with the CRA and/or file Vacate Judgment paperwork with the court (claiming that there is no law suit pending, so there can't be a judgment for a non-suit). This will get the judgment removed, as there will be no public record for the CRA to verify/valid with IF the proper NonSuit/Lawsuit Dismissal Paperwork is filed.
At this point, you FICO scores should jump.
