I have been lurking here for about a week and have learned soooo much! Any and all advice is appreciated...so, if you've delt with any of these comapnies, let me know your story so that I can fix my credit...
I have a two-year old and am planning on proposing to her mother (my gf) in May...so, I wanna be a little more settled when I do so...
currently I am sitting at :
- 520/EX(fako), unknown/EQ, and a 569/TU(fiko)
- 20 dergos
- 7 accts in good standing
- 1 public record (judgement from Nextcard)
there are the derog tl's:
Americredit - auto repo $3,037
Arrow Financial Service (collection) / OC was First Premier - $993
Capital One Bank (charge-off) - $668
Cavalry Portfolio Services / OC was Primus Auto (repo) - $10,120
CBCS Collections (paid, closed, collection account)
Credit Protections Associates / OC was Time Warner - $350
Drive Financial (paid, closed, past due 180 days)
Equidata / OC was Comcast (account scheduled to go to a positive status as of Sept 2010) - $184
Equidata / OC was Comcast (account scheduled to go to a positive status as of Sept 2010) - $665
First American Investment / OC was Household Bank - $587
First Premier Bank (acct charged off, past dues 120 days) - $730
Global Acceptance Credit / OC was Capital One Bank - $647
HSBC Bank (acct transfered, closed/acct charged off) - $852
Midland Credit Mgmt / OC was Southwestern Bell - $387
NCO Financial / OC was Sprint PCS - $371
NCO Financial / OC was Bank of America - $193
Paragon Way INC / OC was Advanced America - $384
Primus Financial (acct charged off/repo - $8,022
USA Federal Credit Union (acct charged off) - $295
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That's it. So far all I have done was send a PFD letter to USA FEDERAL CREDIT UNION regarding the $295, and I sent a GW letter to Drive Financial since it was a co-sign that I did for my ex-wife...and they did get their money, ALL of it...soooo, I figured they may have a heart.
Next I plan to send out massive DV letters to the CA's, esp since it appears that some of the OC's are still reporting the debts with amounts even after selling them to a CA. Is that legal??
Thanks for your help in advance...and happy credit fixing!
