Re: Impact of new credit line reporting with high balance?

Does anyone know if a balance transfer can be done? I have 2 cards lined up that I can transfer my PPC balance to ($1,800) It’s not much but the interest is ridiculous. I would rather transfer it to a card with 0% interest for a year. If it will no longer be a hidden trade-line, there is no point of me paying all of that interest each month. Any thoughts?

It looks like after June PayPal Credit will start reporting?

I just got a letter in my email from PayPal Credit and Synchrony. It sounds like they may start reporting after June. This is super dissapointing.

This is part of what it said:

"Unless otherwise specified, the changes listed below will be effective on your account as of June 23, 2019 and are reflected in the Account Agreement found here.

Credit Bureau Reporting: Synchrony Bank may report information about your account to credit bureaus. Please refer to the “Credit Bureau Reporting” section for more information.

Bill Me Later: Bill Me Later, Inc. will no longer be a party to your agreement. All references to “Bill Me Later, Inc.”, “us and/or Bill Me Later, Inc.”, “we and/or Bill Me Later, Inc.” will be replaced with “we”, “us”, or “our”. Consistent with your account terms, “we”, “us”, and “our” will continue to refer to your lender, which is Synchrony Bank.

Contact Information Changes: The contact information (phone number and mailing address) referenced in the following sections is being updated:
Unauthorized Use;
Resolving a Dispute with Arbitration; and,
Your Billing Rights Summary..

I hope this is only in reguards to missed payments or defaults...anyone know?

We now have confirmation that at least new accounts are being reported.

Well, here's to hoping it at least backdates. The AAoA boost would be a nice offset to the loss of the hidden TL.
