Anyone elses Walmart sc showing closed Experian?

From what I understand synchrony will show my account as closed. Capital one will report the account information from when I opened account. Right now my utilization went up to 8 from 6 percent. The available credit from Walmart is not there as it shows closed. Is this normal? Will cap1 update with Experian, and I'll have my 6k cl factored in? Will I have an extra closed account? (Synchrony) Wich is obviously the only one on my report now.

That's normal
Cap One usually shows original opened date after taking over the account. Once they report, it will show your credit line and balance, if any.
Not sure if Syncrony will remove their reporting, or if it stays as a closed account.

Thank you for reassuring me. I guess that could be a good thing maybe having the extra closed account. Either way I am happy to know this is normal.

I noticed the same thing earlier today. I’m hoping Cap1 reports sooner rather than later. My EX score went down by 3 points today. 😳

I called SYNB and they stated they are closing all accounts during this transition and it will now be on Cap1 to do the reporting.
I also called Cap1 and spoke to a specialist about when they will report my account and will the history remain on my old account. The specialist assured me that the history will remain but, the reporting of the account will not take place until 11/15/2019.(not sure if that is JUST for my account or everyone??)
That’s all I know for now.
I was also given the option to dispute the account for being closed. I don’t see the reason(?) since I know they are making a transition. So, I’ll wait. I lost 2pts from EX so far, nbd, I’ll get’em back and maybe then some being a month later will put the account at 6 months?

Started getting alerts today stating Synch reported my Walmart card closed. They reported it closed and paid even though I had about $100 balance. Still nothing new from Capital One reporting a new account.

Yep, Experian is reporting my Walmart store card as closed too. The notes say, "Transferred to another lender or claim purchased."

Last night I tried to pay for some groceries at Walmart with my Walmart Pay app, and was told the credit card was expired. I had to use the physical card to pay. (That worked fine.) I wanted to take advantage of the 5% off everything for the first year deal (when you use Walmart Pay). I hope they resolve this soon.

Yes both our Wallyworld cards are reporting closed, no sign of the cap one card yet.

That sounds like a Synchrony Bank standard operating procedure. We are still technically in the transition until everyone gets a new card. Overall I would not be too concerned just yet. I know my Walmart MC had the new due date around the same time as the date you posted that it will report. I would not be surprised if Capital One hold off reporting until your next statement is cut as they have enough things to be concerned about as it is.

Well, good news... when checking the EX app this morning, my Cap1 Walmart account has showed up with the previous open date intact. I opened the account 02/18, but I could imagine for someone that has had this account for 5-10+ years... 😱 that would be real sweet!!! 😎 ...and I received my 3 points back too...
