I am wondering if I'm alone with this Springleaf situation. I made a $2,100 payment on Friday on my SpringLeaf personal loan. I noticed it hadn't gone through my bank so I tried to pull up my account yesterday on the phone app. The phone app acted like it was being serviced, so I logged in on a computer. When I logged in on the computer, it has no account info about my loan at all. I called this morning, and they answered the phone "Lendmark financial". I asked what the deal was, she stated they were bought out. I told her fine just checking on my payment. She said she can't see any account information as they don't have the system working. I told her I made a large payment, and it's MIA. She said she will call me when she knows something, hopefully by tommorrow. I asked if I can log in or have my Lendmark account info, and she said no. She said they will mail something out this month. Super annyoing. They should have mailed something 1 month ago! Where is my money? She said if I made the payment friday, it was sent to Springleaf, if Saturday or later it went to Lendmark. My payment is due today. I know not to stress, it'll probably be fine, but that's a lot of money. The loan only had $2700 left. They should have told me AND they should have transferred all information to Lendmark. Disorganized. I want that payment posted, people!! lol
I just found out also. I knew I haven't been able to get to my account information on their website the last couple days. I called them and some lady answered the phone saying lendmark, I asked her was their something wrong with the website and she said no, springleaf was bought out. I told her you would think they would at least gave a heads up. She also said I wouldn't be able to sign into Lendmark until they send a new account #. I hope this doesn't end up looking like a new account on my credit report. I have been trying real hard not to apply for any credit so my AAOA grows.
