Anyone have luck getting NFCU to off cycle report?

Message contains an image

I checked my account this morning and I saw this.

Trailing interest... Smiley Frustrated

Anyone ever had luck getting them to report off cycle? This is gonna bug the crap outta my OCD. I already paid it but I really don't want to wait a month with $1 showing on my credit reports.

They wouldn't do it for my husband about 6 mos ago. However, yesterday their red debit cards went down for almost 3/4 of the day. All transactions were denied as well as payments delayed. They're super apologetic & very accommodating right now. Seems like this may be the best time to ask?

Wow that's awful! I bet they will lose a lot of members for that one. I couldn't imagine if I still relied on my debit card and it didn't work when I needed it! 😲

I might reach out to them. Maybe I will get lucky and they hadn't reported it yet (my bill literally cycled overnight and its a weekend so its possible). I will wait and see if it pops up on EQ tomorrow.

Supposedly it didn't effect ALL customers, but both of ours were. When we called in to find out why our transaction was denied, there was a 47 min wait, so I think they were fibbing on just how many people were affected. Lol.

@Anonymous, when i had like $0.06 on my account from interest from my Cash Advance experiment, i couldnt mske a payment due to being a minimum allowed. I called in and boom bam bim, they took it from my cash rewards balance instantly and poof, back to $0

See, its things like that which make me stay with my current bank over switching to a CU. NFCU has more downtime than I would like and that's just their website. My current bank is surprisingly stable for a regional bank with only 19 billion in assets. NFCU is over 5 times larger so an outage of that scale is definitely not okay.

Yeah I made my payment already, I just don't want a credit card reporting I left a $1 balance on it. I suppose I will just leave it alone though. Its not going to have a scoring impact either way.

If it makes you feel any better, I've been a loyal customer for 6 yrs and never seen an issue like that from them.

You'd be surprised how many banks systems go down. I work as a Payroll Administrator for a national company and at least once a month we get a notification of some major banks system going down causing employees deposits to be late. Oh, the phone call blasts I receive on those days.

Because its not technically paid until that $1.39 is gone. It is pure OCD but it absolutely bothers me.
