Auth User on son's Navy Fed CC - late pay score dropped 32pts

I need help. I am an authorized user on my sons Navy Federal CC. He had a late payment and it showed on my credit report. My credit score tanked 32 points. I sent a message and asked them to remove me as an authorized user. They agreed but said they would not update the late pay information. Any advice for me?

Have the account removed from your CR, contact them and tell them you wish to be removed from the AU account, they will agree then contact the 3 CRA and dispute the account. 9/10 out of 10 they'll remove it hassle free.

At least they did when I ran into a similar situation as yours... if you're just piggy backing on the AU card your stop has come... their payment history impacts yours.

You'll have to request the credit bureaus remove the AU accounts from your file. I don't know of any other way to correct the issue.
