Authorize user

OK so I have a question if I get added to someone else’s credit card that’s let’s say capital one and they have a great history for seven years with Capital One but they aren’t so good with other credit card companies car loans etc..would the other loans and credit cards that aren’t in so good standings affect me being authorized user on the capital one card or does only the capital one history affect my score?

Re: Authorize user

Only the account that you are an authorized user on will show on your report and affect your score. If there are any late payments, high utilization, or any other negative factors on that account it will bring down your scores.
