I am currently an authorized user on my son's credit cards. I have gotten all of my cards paid down to under 30% utilization. My son has one card that is around 85-90% and I am considering removing myself as an authorized user and remove the tradeline so that card is not showing on my credit. I think without it, my credit would improve more but just wanted to make sure before hand that it will remove it altogether as if I never had it since I am not liable for the account. Any info regarding this would be appreciated.
