BF has EQ FICO of 650 needs a CC!

myfico simulator said a $300 cc could shoot his scores up as high as 730! i know that's a long shot, but he has no open TL's right now so i am trying to find him a CC with low fees, and it has to pull from EQ. anybody know of a good one?

what's the name of that site that tells you who approved at what score? i've seen it in the forums before but can't find it now. anyone remember?

heya girl,

I don't know if Cap1 pulls (wait... don't run... yes I said Cap1!) EQ in your area but he should be able to get that.  Is he getting any offers from them?  Just giving my personal experience with DH a few years ago.  It was all he could get so he had to.  I think he got a preapproval notice for $300 with less of a score..they bumped it to $500 2-3 months later, then an automatic $2000 at the 1 year anniversary.  I used to think they were total Crap1 but they've actually surprised me.  I just hate the way they bill it's confusing and the online site is not as user friendly as other CC co's.  They report his full credit line.  He started with a $39 annual fee which reminds me... I need to tell him to go argue that off as I think he probably just got billed again.

just an FYI, hope ya find something good!  Smiley Wink

IMHO, your BF might have trouble getting approved for an unsecured CC because he no revolving TLs. It might be best if tries for a CC with his bank or a credit union. Or he might try and apply for a BoA Platinum Visa and probably be TD and offered an unsecured 99/500 like many at these forums have.
