BOA CLI

I recently got a BOA card and requested CLI after I activated the card. CLI was requested on line, anyway they sent me a letter stating they frequently review for cli therefore I was DENIED. What I wanna know is what's the point of having a cli aka the LOVE button on-line?

I believe that the love button is really ment for people that have had the card for awhile. I have found several times that after I receive the NEW card & activate it...that the CL is higher then when approved....not always tho

Not really, I hit the BofA luv button online about 1 week after getting my card. I didn't get an instant answer, but a CSR called me the next day and approved the CLI after I said that I wanted to do a large BT.

I think most people make the mistake of asking for CLI just for the sake of having a higher CL. I find that when talking to a CSR it's always good to have a reason. Remodeling bathroom, Balance Transfer, New Appliances etc...

No I didn't mean for new people not to use it. I only meant that I thought it was there for people that already had cards. Thats all.
