Bankruptcy LexisNexis and Equifax

Hello,

I am literally just finding out that LexisNexis and Equifax are now a partnership. Riddle me this... how is it possible for Equifax to VERIFY information with LexisNexis when they are the same company now? Isnt that a conflict of interest? How do your verify information with yourself.... This must be a huge issue with the FCRA. Anyone care to share their opinion?

LexisNexis is owned by UK-based RELX, and Equifax has no ownership stake in LN or vice versa.  They are not the same company.  They do have some partnership agreements, such as LN providing bankruptcy data to EQ.
