Best Options for personal loans

I graduated from college 6 months and was unemployed for the past 6 months. To pay my bills, I had to get money ( around $8k totally ) from my friends. Now that I got a good job from a tech company that pays me $70k per year, I would like to pay off the debts. What is the best option for me to get a personal loan? I can repay it in a maximum of 6 months. My credit score is fair ( 643 ) . Please help me.

You could try Lending Club or talk to some local CUs.

I really doubt if CUs offer more than $3000.

Re: Best Options for personal loans

the issue is that the loan is to pay back friends. Underwriters like proof and would rather make the check out to the creditor rather than just give money away and have you pay them back. Do you own your own car by any chance? If you do they could use that as collateral. I would atleat say they are gonna want a cosigner. Honestly if you really need the loan I would open up an account and switch your direct deposit to a credit uinion. Let one deposit come in and then ask for the loan this way you can show them you really wamt to build a relationship
