My biggest spree for which I was approved was 4 accounts in one month back in 12/2018. I generally seem to go for 3-4 approvals and then hit the brakes and let them age together.

I had to Google...
wow.

ETA: Did some more digging and he went from "190+" 2/20/2018 to "pushing 400" on 3/2/2018!?! That is some serious apping holy crap!
Sept 2019: 1 approval + 1 decline
Oct 2019: 7 approvals + 1 auto refi + 2 declines
1 of the 7 card approvals for Oct used the same HP as the auto refi.

He used to go on sprees because he was on a quest to get to IIRC $500K total CL. Every time he got an approval he would post with "How do you like me now?". He did have a bunch of cards, again from memory some good ones with nice limits but also a lot of toy approvals.
Last I remember he had gone on another spree of somewhere around 6 cards with an approval and was waiting for outcomes on the rest, and soon afterward vanished.

Yeah that post that I linked up was one of the last threads he made before he disappeared. Quite the impressive success given the scores in his signature. If he tried that today, would probably get half his cards shut down. Crazy how much things changed in 2 years.
My app spree is pretty mild compared to some. I got 5 new credit cards in 6 months, from November 2019 to May 2020.

I don't remember applying for more than 2 cards in a day. Off the top of my head I don't think I picked up more than 3 in any given 2 week interval, but from early 2017-early 2019 I was averaging 1 new card about every 2 weeks.
Same here, I usually would prefer to just apply for new accounts 6 months or so apart. But twice (in recent memory) I've applied for 3 cards in the same week.
Last year, it was Cap1, CFU, and CSP... was approved for all 3.
This year, it was CFF, Amazon SC, REI. Was denied for the CFF, which put me in a "what do I have to lose now" mindset, so I applied for the other two and got them. At this point I don't imagine I'll be doing anymore app sprees, possibly ever. Not that many cards left that I want.

Total SL: $78kI hauled in 5 LOC's over 45 days. For CCs I've picked up 2 back to back a couple of times.
Normally I tend to be conservative about apping if I can about it.
Pretty mild here. I picked up 5 new cards in last 2 months. I can organically hit all the SUB's and I plan to keep all my accounts.
