Hello,
I am still here.
I haven't called BofA as yet. I don't think they'll waive it because I did make the payment so close to the due date. I don't feel like waiting on the phone for an hour for them to tell me that it was in transit. I think my situation is similar to Julia's. FYI, I pay through my bank, not directly from the card's website.
I shouldn't have let it get to that point as I am so used to the ease of payments for AMEX and other cards. For instance, I paid an AMEX bill online on Sunday night and got a text message that same night saying it was confirmed. Checked my AMEX account the next day and the balance was cleared off. What service!!

I realized BofA was a little shady a few months back when they switched my Due Date on that same card without even informing me.
Electronic payments were supposed to help us all in paying bills by not having to worry about delays through the postal service.
Now with financial institutions in so much trouble, they try to get us every way they can. I pay off my entire monthly balance on my BofA card so they've never really made a penny off of me. Now for the past couple of months, I've had nothing but headaches.
I've learned my lesson. I'll make sure that I charge no less than $50/month on that BofA card (just to get the utilization) and pay it off at least 5 days in advance. Things were so great under MBNA. I've had this same card since 1998 never having a problem. It was my first credit card ever.
