Bypassing CA and paying OC

If the OC is not reporting to the CRA and they will accept payment on your account, can you go ahead and pay them and bypass the CA?

Would the CA then have to delete as the debt is not valid?

Could the OC report after you have paid, with any negative status?

Use a PFD with the OC.. make sure they know that the CA must delete the derog if they (OC) are paid.

So, in my PFD state

".............you agree not to report this account to any of the 3 credit reporting agencies(TransUnion, Equifax, Experian) and will have the collection agency, XXXXXXX, remove this account from any and all credit reporting agencies files that they have reported to."

Would that prevent the OC from reporting it and require the CA to delete it?

I have one account that is being reported by the first CA under my accounts section of CR and also reported under the collection portion by another CA. I think the OC would accept a PFD on this as it is a small amount and SOL is nearly out.

For this case, I would have to list both CA in the PFD to the OC?
