So I can't find this answer anywhere....
I am in the process of rebuilding and I'd like to be about to access reports for all three bereaus and scores. I need to be able to see when something drops off so that I know what I'm doing is working.
I constantly see people talk about how they dropped something off their report and what not, but how are you guys monitoring it daily and see what has dropped off?
Right now I just have the trial period things for all three bureaus that I am about to cancel.
PS...TU is the most complete for me, and shows any all all baddies that I have on it. The other reports only show a few.
I recently cancelled my numerous different services and switched to http://www.eliminateidtheft.com . I am able to pull both my husband's and my own 3 in 1 report once a day for 17.95 a month--much less than I was paying. I believe that a single membership is 12.95 a month, but you can sign up and add a spouse for the higher amount. The only complaint I might have is that they won't let you pull a new report for literally 24 hours. So, if you pull at 8 AM on Monday, you can't get a new one until 8:01 on Tuesday. This seems to be the most inexpensive way to see all 3 reports for me...somebody else may have a better option lol.
The 24 hrs thing is fine with me, so long as I can see all three AND the full report. Some negatives are TU that are not on the others.
This thread reminded me to call and cancel my USAA CMS. But they offered me the 6 month discount so I'll keep it that long then cancel it.LOL
This is a good question...I have wondered the same thing....I need to figure out what is the best and cancel the others...
i have my fico scorewatch for my husband and I...12.95 each a month but I can't pull free reports
i have totalcreditcheck.com for my husband and I....14.95 each a month and I can pull up to 3 reports monthly
then I just added equifax score watch for husband at 12.95 and I like that one the most but I can't pull as many reports as I want...
its so hard for me to figure out exactly which is best
any good service out there guys ?
Sounds similar to what I had. Credit Expert for both of us-19.95 a month, and Score Watch for both-8.95 a month. Eliminate ID Theft has really worked well so far. I can see changes to all three reports once a day. 17.95 for both of us.
I remember back when I signed up for the service, someone had posted that there was a way to get it even cheaper...maybe do a search and see if you can find it if you are interested in trying it out.
I love Scorewatch, but when I really thought about the cost, it will be cheaper to just pull my Equifax score from MyFICO when I want to see it. We are building a house (finally) and once this mortgage is complete, I hope I will be less obsessed--we'll see!
it's good to know i am not the only one using several services....
i am cancelling husbands subscription to equifax today.... i like their set up and they offer a "family" plan for 29.95 a month but i can't pull unlimited reports...only unlimited reports for equifax and that's annoying... at least with our creditchecktotal.com subsciption we can pull 3 new reports each within the month's billing cycle. I am looking into http://www.eliminateidtheft.com that was mentioned above. That is even cheaper.... has anyone else gone with that service? The only one I am keeping for sure is MyFico but I need a secondary service where I can pull the reports from since myfico charges.
oooooooooooooooo
and just signed us both up for credit karma - why didn't i know it was free??? looks like i was missing a lot not being subscribed to that!!!
