I could fill 6 more pages, Noah.  Can you figure this out? I've disputed it a hundred times, and no one seems to listen about the status not being "PAID" and the $ amount wrong.  On one alert it shows 3 charge offs in an 18-20 month period.Smiley Sad  It's enough to make you want to give up. Nah.  Not me.

Re: CRA obligations?

With an OC incorrectly reporting, you first have to dispute with the CRAs. Use CMRRR or there's no proof of it.

If you already have disputed and have the papertrail to prove it, then send a letter CMRRR to Suntrust telling them they are inaccurately reported, the CRAs have verified the information, and that they are now in violation of the FCRA.

Again, you have to dispute with the CRAs first, and it needs to be CMRRR.

Re: CRA obligations?

Thanks, Noah.  I've done all of that.  Maybe now that I'm a special handling case, it will change the way this is being reported, huh?  They've got all of the info.  Equifax.  Such as the 81 month payment history, though they all tell me that the status doesn't matter.  It obviously does.  I'd bet my life Equifax and Experian, now, too, has this updating as an open account. Now we just wait and see...  And just how much do you suppose having this reported correctly will up my score?  Will I gain what I lost? That is a mystery, isn't it, Noah.....  er .... Noah-N-Knows.  Just kidding.

Have a super day, you super contributor! And hey, did you see Tuscani's pics?  Great, aren't they?
