Got dispute result notification via e-mail this morning. Followed link & entered report #, SSN, etc. Experianonlinedispute came back with "the information you entered does not match the information you entered when you ordered your report." Ended up calling the 714- number after trying both the 800/888 numbers and never getting a human.
On the phone with the transfer from 714- for 25 min. Very nice, but couldn't figure out why I couldnt' view. All my info matches what they have on file, as we went over every aspect on the phone. They can't e-mail me results of the dispute to the e-mail addy on file for whatever reason, despite involving 2 supervisors.
Final recommendation: call the 888-397 number and just "don't press anything"... apparently if you never press any buttons it will eventually tx you to CSR. Well, after 4min 42sec of not pressing anything and it vetting me through the automated system, I got (from a recording of course) "sorry we couldn't help you. Goodbye!"
So how the heck do I get this resolved??? I have never, ever, found the right combo of buttons to speak to a human on either the 888/800 numbers. And now, I have a results that I can't view! And of course, they're only available for FOUR DAYS so unless I can track down, stalk and torture an Experian employee in the next four days to give me my dispute results, I'm SOL.
Any advice? I'd really like to know what may have been updated/deleted/verified so I can proceed.
