Can you call CRAs and ask if something is in dispute?

Im gonna start trying to see how many violations a specific CA can rack up.

I didnt know if you can just call and ask if a particular account is in dispute, or if you have to order another CR to see? Thanks.

Did you dispute with the CRA? Or are you trying to find out if the CA reported the account in dispute?

If you are wanting to know if the CA reported the account in dispute, you might be able to call and ask. But, you really need a copy of your CR to prove whether it is in dispute or not. If you are considering suing the CA, you can't really just say "Well I called the CRA and they said the account wasn't in dispute". You'd need a dated CR that shows it wasn't.

Do you have a credit monitoring service where you pay a monthly fee for daily, weekly, or monthly pulls?

That link is about credit monitoring services. Scroll down through it, there are some very informative post. Post 10 is a good one.

Personally, I tried about 3 or 4, and like TrueCredit. Scores are fake, but you can pull daily.

Great advice...

I am trying to find out if the CA reported account as disputed when I DV.

Thanks again sidewinder...I looked into TrueCredit before but I had no idea you could pull actual CRs anytime.
