Can you help?

I checked many of the threads before posting.  I have a collecton on my credit that is 7 years old.  It was due to fall off this past March.  We are trying to buy a home and the lender told me that the collection company has resent this in and it will stay on my credit for another 7 years.  Does this sound right?  I thought after 7 years collections fell off?  Plus, this was disputed on my credit in the first place.  I am so frustrated!

The OC sets DOFD and that date doesn't change after collection/charge off status. What is DOFD? Do you have an old CR that shows it was to fall off in March? If so, dispute with CRA through mail or fax and send copy, dispute as "obsolete".
